Meet Dr. Daniel Walters

Dr. Daniel Walters, DPT, CCRP, is a licensed animal physical therapist based in Castle Rock, Colorado. Before founding The Pet PT, he spent 15 years helping human patients from pediatrics to geriatrics. Inspired by his own dog’s rehabilitation journey after a TPLO surgery, Dr. Walters brought that expertise to the animal world, blending science, skill, and compassion in every case.

Known for his ability to connect with even the most challenging patients, Dr. Walters has worked with creatures as small as fancy rats and as driven as working K9s. No matter the size, breed, or temperament, he treats every animal with the same commitment: to restore comfort, movement, and quality of life.

Education:

• Earned Bachelor's Degree in Biology from The University of Georgia

• Earned Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Emory University

• Received his Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner credential from the University of Tennessee
